Processing of personal data in the context of FHI branch activities

 

Processing of personal data

FHI, the Federation of Technology Branches (hereinafter: FHI), collects personal data for its organisation of fairs (WoTS, E&A and LabNL) and events to provide exhibitor and visitor badges. FHI saves the following provided personal data after a registration: sex, name, company name, address details, email address and telephone number. We also save your date of birth, if provided. FHI does not store your personal data longer than necessary fort he mentioned purposes. This means that your personal data is kept for as long as it is necessary to achieve the stated goals.

FHI saves and uses the provided personal data to invite you and keep you informed about other relevant and interesting (marketing) activities such as upcoming editions of WoTS, E&A and LabNL and events.

Exhibitors

If you register as a visitor to a fair or event, your provided personal data (gender, name, position, market segment, fields of interest (if indicated), company name, address details, corporate emailaddress and telephone number) will be shared with exhibitors if you have given permission for this or if there is a legal obligation to do so. Data that cannot be related to a person can be passed on to exhibitors. Exhibitors will use your data to provide information or to make offers.

Badge

As a visitor, you understand that personal data will be shared with an exhibitor when he scans your badge. You give the exhibitor permission to use these data to contact you about their products or services. You understand that this exhibitor may use your data outside the European Economic Area and give permission for this. You understand and accept that the organisers of this event can keep and use your data. This includes FHI and any third party acting on behalf of the organisers to organise the event and to analyse the flow of visitors in order to improve their experience.

Media partners

If you have given permission for this, the information you provided will be provided to one or more of our media partners.

These media partners can offer your subscriptions and/or send you newsletters. For an overview of our media partners, view this page.

Fair projects

If you sign up for projects or seminars at trade fairs and/or events, the provided personal data (gender, name, position, market segment, fields of interest (if indicated), company name, address details, corporate email address and telephone number) will be shared with exhibitors if you have given permission for this during your registration as a visitor and/or by scanning your badge.

Pictures and videos

Anyone who visits a FHI fair or event gives permission for the creation of pictures and videos you may appear in as a visitor. FHI uses these recordings for advertising purposes. You will be expressly informed of this by means of a notice at the entrance.

Withdrawing permission

If you no longer wish to subscribe to  trade shows and/or newsletters, information about (new) products and services (by e-mail), you can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the e-mail. If this is not possible, you can also send an email to privacy@fhi.nl or submit a written request to FHI, Privacy Department, PO Box 366, 3830 AK Leusden, The Netherlands. We will respond to your request within 5 business days. We refer to the relevant third party for the withdrawal of your permission for the use of personal data granted to third parties.

Accessing and modifying personal data

If FHI has recorded your personal data, you can access and modify these by sending an e-mail to privacy@fhi.nl or by submitting a written request to FHI, Privacy Department, PO Box 366, 3830 AK Leusden, The Netherlands. We will respond to your request within 5 business days.

FHI uses cookies to increase your ease of use and improve the websites. We use functional cookies, tracking cookies and analytical cookies.

Functional cookies
